Well, Saint Louis has chosen a smoking ban for all restaurants and bars, with only a short list exceptions. I’m so done with my human rights vanishing, I’m ill. I can’t apprehend the reason non-smokers have such a assertive personal judgement on what we smokers do. Everyone knows that smoking is harmful, but I made a conscience choice when I took up smoking, observant of the fact it was harmful. Just because non-smokers want me to give it up, won’t mean that it will happen. Smoking in bars has been a privilage, but most restaurants have a approved smoking section. If non-smokers do not want to inhale the smoke, don’t sit in the smoking section, you are not forced to sit in the smoking section. And as far as the workers of these restaurants that say they are distressed by second hand smoke, I don’t believe it. I worked in the hospitality industry for more than 10 years, and I know that almost all of thefellow workers were smokers. Doing business with people, tends to, compels you to inhale. And, I have never heard one non-smoking co-worker ever whine about second hand smoke while working in the smoking section. Putting a smoking prohibition in restaurants and bars, ultimately will only save me money, because I won’t dine out after the first of the year.

Only a Couple Days to the Tobacco Exile
Tuesday, December 29th, 2009All I have to have for my Present: Smokes!
Friday, December 18th, 2009I have concluded this christmas to plead for basic Christmas Gifts that my wife can pick up comfortably for me. My selection, as always, is my adored stogie from cigar-cutters.com. My wife won’t even have to take leave of our condo, she can go online (I have all my favorites sites saved) and enter the order there. As far as anything else, she can head over to the nearest retailer and pick out a gift. She mentions every Christmas that I am the most baffling man to get gifts for. But we have been together for about 15 years! And if she doesn’t understand the things I like by now, I just don’t know. I continuously articulate every December, “I got to have smokes”, I smoke 1 or 2 in a day, and that adds up. I bought a humidor for keeping my smokes, “what’s that for?” my wife inquires. Well my love, it’s to keep my smokes lively. So, if you get me smokes for the holiday I can store them in the humidor for a couple months and get one when I am ready to enjoy one. Although I have to say, I was blessed with luck last year, my wife bought me a lighter that was ingraved with my initials. The prior year, she got me a fishing pole, because I said I would like to go fishing again someday. Well, I went fishing one time after that, but guess what, I still enjoy 1-2 smokes every day. Well what do I want for the holiday this year? I want Stogies, and all else would just be an additional enjoyment.
